Editorial Policies

Governance and Fraud Journal

The Governance and Fraud Journal is committed to maintaining high standards of academic integrity, transparency, and quality in scholarly publishing. The editorial policies outlined below guide the editorial process and ensure fairness, accountability, and ethical conduct in all stages of publication.

1. Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo a double-blind peer review process, in which both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous. Each manuscript is evaluated based on originality, academic contribution, clarity, methodology, and relevance to the journal’s scope in governance and fraud.

The editorial team may decide to:

  • Accept the manuscript
  • Request minor revisions
  • Request major revisions
  • Reject the manuscript

2. Editorial Decision

The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the overall quality of the manuscript.

3. Publication Ethics

The journal follows ethical publishing standards to prevent misconduct such as plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, and duplicate publication. All submitted manuscripts may be checked using plagiarism detection software.

Authors must ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original
  • All sources are properly cited
  • The work has not been published or submitted elsewhere

4. Conflict of Interest

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the review or publication process.

5. Confidentiality

Editors and reviewers must treat all submitted manuscripts as confidential documents. Information related to the manuscript must not be shared with anyone outside the editorial process.

6. Corrections and Retractions

If significant errors or ethical issues are discovered after publication, the editorial board may issue corrections, clarifications, or retractions in accordance with academic publishing standards.

7. Open Access Policy

The journal supports the dissemination of knowledge by providing open access to its published content. All articles are freely accessible to readers without subscription or payment.
